Funk - Periphery's Relic

Although internationally recognized, Brazilian funk still faces deep-rooted prejudice and discrimination. To challenge these perceptions, we placed funk where it rightfully belongs, as a legitimate cultural expression worthy of respect and visibility, inside a museum. What started as a digital exhibition on Google Arts & Culture became a physical showcase at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, marking an unprecedented moment of recognition for the genre.
